Whats a good Champion to learn Assassin?

I want to add mid assassins to my playlist, but I dont really have experience with such Champions.

Until now I only play squishys when I support, if I cant support I jungle or top, always tanky champions.

So playing a squishy melee is overall new for me. Which Champion would be good to start Assassin for a total beginner?

Katarina I can honestly say that this champion takes no skill. You just let your team eat all the enemy's skills then jump in and KS everyone. And no one bitches at you for it either. You get that multi or even penta and it's "GJ kat!".

and then you get bursted down with your 1.2k hp and ult stopped instantly. GG no resets.

only works in bronze and silver. kat is pretty terrible against anyone who doesnt completely suck at this game.

I don't know, she is ranked 20th for mid on champion.gg (which only takes into account plat+). Her win rate jumps all the way up to 54% with experienced players.

54% with experienced players is nothing unusual. and anything below plat doesnt matter balance wise. riot doesnt balance for anything lower, since these players still need to learn how to overcome those champions instead of the champions being balanced around them.

noob stompers that dominate lower divisions always existed. its up to the players to learn how to abuse their weaknesses.

You're missing the entire point. You say that Kat is absolutely shit to anyone that doesn't suck at the game, yet Kat players have a 54% win rate in Plat+...not exactly bad winrate against not shit people.

Depends on conditions, if you remember the game mode TTree 6v6 people complained Jat was ok. Yet any Kat we faced I always won, I literally had a 29 game win streak vs kat, why? I took braum into the mode knowing everything game had a kat and shut her down yeah time.

But over all she is fun.

Kassadin is pretty easy to use. In the end what you need to learn is knowing when to go in and when to go back, this is what will make you an efficent assassin.

MasterYi and Zed are easy to learn assassins with kits that offer plenty of room to learn. I would recommend starting with Master Yi if you want a jungle assassin, and Zed if you are looking for the mid lane carry.

Zed is pretty easy. Just poke em and play safe pre six unless they are really low and over extend. Then at six just tower dive with ult and win.

Ive never played zed but thats how they beat this bronzie lol

Talon He has good damage and aoe, ulti helps for self-peel and getting past the frontline very high mana costs early

Talon if just want a quick pick up but if your looking for one to master try Zed a good zed player needs to be fared Zed zed get allot of crap about being easy but he is a hard champ one of the hardiest in the game ( but not the hardiest)

Here is a thing: Easy assassins Ahri able to charm and immobilze sole victims, easy prey. can be played as mage as well Fizz Pretty simple mechanics in his kit. Katarina easy to learn, simple combos, spam buttons once u get near them. Leblanc Self explanatory , burst, then get out. Nocturne ZOOMING THRU DA SKIES, KILLING THEM GUYS. Rengar Well, this is rengar, go in bushes, spam abilities, repeat. Medium assassins Akali takes minor skill, learn to juke, and roam well. Kassadin like one above, roaming is key, very hard snowball. Ekko Able to assasinate entire teams when played right, throwing your W is key to your success. Additionally, using your passive correctly is very strong. Jax Well, just jax things. cues music Khazix Gotta learn how 2 adapt to ALL situations! -Wukong Malzahar Learn his combo. (Q on top of them w on floor E then R all on smartcast= instakill if performed correctly, even against tanks, as W is percent health damage) Zed Learn to utilize his R to complete assassinations. (Walk away once they are at low enough of health.

hard assassins Nidalee Learn to use both forms, as well as her passive. Evelynn Honestly a fun champ, just hard to use right. Using her stealth to counter jungle is cool as you can ward, usually without danger. Diana She has hard mechanics to master, but is fun to play. Shaco He may seem easy, but you have to realize he DOES fall off late game, so learn how to adapt to that. Talon I honestly found him hard to play, but thats just me. His w is his poke, and use your R to both run away, and to attack. Yasuo He IS broken, just know when to use your ult and when NOT to your it.

I know I missed some assassins, but I kinda don't wanna type the rest lol

I recommend Talon.

He has a very straightforward playstyle. Farm safe if you can, all in once you have a damage item. Basically the simplest assassin to learn the basics on.

The thing that makes a GREAT assassin is learning where you should be on the map in a more global sense.

Talon is an ok choice since his burst rotation is pretty simple, only thing you have to do is make sure you know what to build on him and it should be pretty obvious from there.

Annie is an AMAZING ASSASSIN however she takes skill to play and master so be careful
