Why does Sion's ult even have a warning?

Seriously. He is not a fucking Rengar, he can't just ram towards and you kill you in a milisecond with pretty much undodgeable stuff.

It's not like you can't dodge a Sion running towards you by simply moving slightly to the left or to the right. I mean, look at that laughable hitbox, look at it and laugh. It's probably smaller than Morganas Dark Binding if you think about it.

Oh, nvm, his whole kit can be dodged by moving.

It's a joke, especially considering that he literally has no passive. Seriously, I think Talon's Mercy is probably better than this shit.

Because if they were to remove the warning sign, and then when you got wrecked by an undetected Sion ult, you would now be saying things in Boards like "Why does Sion gets to have such an OP quiet ult???"

And still happy about Talon's silence being removed. WOOHOO

How does that even make sense?

Mercy is a decent passive, what are you on about? All his skills synergize with it.

??????????

Wtf are you on?

It only increases auto attack damage.

If I have 400 AD, my first auto will deal 440 dmg instead. The thing is, Talon doesn't even auto attack most of the times, the only auto he does is his Q and his Q damage doesn't even get amplified.

How the fuck is that even useful? That passive would be good on Ashe, not on Talon.

If you take into account that his E gives a 15% damage amplification, he recieves 25 percent increase aa damage so he would do 500 instead of 400. Still pretty garbage though.

That has nothing to do with your passive

That has to do with your E.

And it only increases the Auto Attack damage after all. The Noxian Diplomacy Damage remains unchanged.

Olaf syndrome: giving a champion so much counterplay that they don't have any plays anymore.

Because if you actually LAND his ult, they are going to be stunned for a long time. A good Sion as soon as he hits someone, is going to charge Q to prolong the CC. Combine that with some other aoe CC and they are not doing anything.

Yeah it's hard to land, but when it lands...

its still cool lol. it scares the shit out of everyone on the enemy team. nothing is scarier than having low hp and u hear that shit in the middle of ur lane. pls.

because if he hits you with it, followed by his q, you'll won't be able to move for a hour.

Well, the same happens with Nautilus and I don't see him having such an unreliable ultimate.

If you get the hit by the Anchor, you might get reported for AFK as you won't be able to move unless you have a Quicksilver.

except if nautlius goes all out, its going to be on 1 person minus his aoe cc, sion can hit a entire group and doesn't have to worry about minions getting in the way.

How?

Press R as Nautilus on someone, it has quite decent cast range.

Stunlock him with your Q and passive.

I think.. I could be wrong. But I think part of it is just that when you use your ult, people are supposed to know about it. combine that with some risk vs. reward and you have a Scion Ult warning.

The large majority of ults are highly noticeable. You rarely ever will have an experience where someone ulted, and you didn't know about it. With Scion, since he's able to ult from a safe distance, rush in so quickly, and with such minimal visual warning that teamfights and ganks he misses out on a showy ult opportunity and the enemy team misses out on a chance to read the tell.

There ARE a few like Nunu in a bush for example are kinda sneaky. But I think the Riot has it as part of their design philosophy that the ult should be profound, interesting, and clearly communicated.

So most ults are loud, showy, and hard to miss. They didn't want to deny Sion those attributes. And since landing his ult is so incredibly impactful, it's part of the risk. But if you land it, that risk is rewarded.
