Reduce LP loss when teamed with a constant disconnected player

Self explanatory title. I think the game should reduce how much LP you lose after you lose a match where you had teammates who were disconnecting a lot, or never present online at all (or afk for majority of the game). I only thought of this as a possibility when I just now had 3 games in a row with a completely absent player in two of them, and 1 game with an absent ADC for the first 10 minutes.

The game already knows when a player disconnects; it shouldn't be unreasonable for it to award a minor LP loss protection for it. Let the protection only apply to the players who didn't cause it (weren't dc'd) and I don't see how it might be abused.

Can you win a 4v5 game? Yes. I almost won the first 4v5 because as Nami I stalled them in bot lane hard and my jungler came down for amazing ganks (mid game couldn't stop split push, though). But 9 times out of 10, it's a completely unfair loss that does not reflect your teams skill. And rank is a reflection of your skill, right?

People might bully others into afking. Is there a time limit? You'd feel required to survive for the time limit.

"afk for the majority"

AFK'ing on purpose for more than half the game would be the cause of the loss, not the solution to it. Bullying someone into it is not only extremely hard to do, it just gets you banned.

If you actually timed how long somebody was afk, sure I suppose you might feel like you need to keep the game going longer, but if you have the ability to survive, you have the ability to win anyway.

You cannot win a 4v5 if the opponents are of similar skill. So when someone dc's after 15 minutes for whatever reason (ragequit, lightning bolt, dog on fire), you'd force people to hold out for 15 minutes outnumbered.

Historically, the issue with this is, "What about people bullying others into afking?"

So, to address this, what if the LP loss reduction was dependent on how long the player is afk for? So if he afks for 20 min in a 30 min game, you'll lose less LP than if he afks only 2 minutes before the game is over (in that case, you'd lose basically the same amount as if hadn't afked at all).

Probably hard to bully someone to afk is they know they won't get the same reduction the bully will. I like the "more time afk/dc'd, more reduction".
