Essence Reaver is bad

New item 3508 looks good on paper, but its a terrible item. Had a game where the enemy adc had item 3508 and item 1051 and with just that he had 30% CDR. What the hell is wrong with you RIOT?

Hate to break it to you but you are lying here. If he had an Essence Reaver and a Brawlers glove then he would have 20 percent CDR. He would had to of been running CDR blues to reach 30 with just that and that is really inefficient on ADC's.

he didnt have cdr runes, i checked

Then you lied. Those two items would give 20 percent CDR

Then he's not lying lol. I had a Kog'maw in my game run 10% cdr in runes. He didn't do too well. However, I'm not really convinced it is inefficient on ADC's anymore. Compare that with the new keystone mastery that heals you with crits.

That's what this kog'maw was doing, as I was playing kindred against him. I would burst him out to about 10% health. Without pots, using heal, or a sustain support, within 9-15 seconds he would be back to full hp.

Cool story kid

Except he just said he wasn't running CDR blues which means he had to of been lying.

also Kog doesnt build any crit until later in the game and by that point any ADC has lifesteal anyway so any ADC could heal that fast.

Not sure why we have to resort to insults because someone disagrees, but alright.

You said he was lying before the guy said he wasn't running cdrs. Which had I read the comments before posting mine, I would have noticed. Regardless, the reason crit blues would be beneficial is because he doesn't build crit until later. Sustain in lane until he gets his hands on lifesteal/more crit. And quite a bit of sustain.

Im not lying. What reason would i have to lie? Could be he was cheating and gave himself extra CDR. And before you say that you cant cheat in League, yes you can. If the pentagon can be hacked in to, so can a free online game.

luckmallory1 votes

So basically you are resorting to saying this guy hacked and the only thing he did was give himself 10 percent extra CDR. LOL

Yeah because if you could hack the game that's what you would do. Just stop

Bloodhawk951 votes

Because if you hack a game youre going to make it extremely noticable youre cheating right? So youre going to call me a liar when you werent there? Just stop.

Mixed messages. You say its terrible but your story indicates that you think it is too strong.

too strong is still bad.

i agree. adc should be forced to chose between a caster focused build and a classic auto attack focused build.

why the hell are they handing them 30% cdr with one item? not even actual ad caster champions or mages get that. but i guess since marksmen are already getting better tank stats on their core items than actual tanks (plus bond of stone for a support just standing next to them doing nothing), they might just give them better caster stats on their items aswell.

If an item is too strong it is terrible. It has too many stats, and its CDR is too high, and too easy to obtain
