Champion Mastery & Ranked
Champion Mastery looks like an exciting new way of showing people your proficiency with a champion, my only problem is the medals will take into account only raw amount of time spent playing the champion, and not how good the player is with the champion. However, the game will try its best to take into account your performance in the game ( I don't know how, but it seems baised towards carries) and you will get the medal faster if you play better.
Problem: If you have the skills, you can grab the medal quickly. If you suck, but have the time, you can grind out game and get the badge. Then we end up with a person with a "I am skilled badge" with no way of losing that badge should they somehow become incompetent with the character (selling account, boosting).
Solution: I think the Badge should take the average of your games and compare it with the whole amount of games you have played, using your own match history and all of its stats as a comparison to show how good you are and grant the badge that way.
This brings into account how ranked is determined as well. Once the method of how to obtains medals by having the program looks through all of your stats to determine how well you did, I feel like the system could be given to ranked and allow for a better way to rank players.
