Twitch Needs Some Sort of Dash In the Current Meta

Hello, just a Twitch main here. A big problem for Twitch in the current meta is a lack of mobility, but it's okay: A lot of champions in the current meta, like Twitch, lack mobility and still thrive. That's not the biggest issue though. The biggest issue is champions like Tahm, Braum, and Yasuo coming more into meta. Yasuo and Braum have a wall that prevents anything from passing through, which completely renders Twitch ult useless and makes him an entirely useless throughout an entire team fight. It's unfair to the meta to have champions that completely block other champions from being played. Counters are okay, every champion has a counter, but being able to entirely block out a champion's existence is unfair. Countless times I've played Twitch against a Yasuo or Braum and done no damage throughout the entire fight just because I can't reposition fast enough after using my ult and they use their wall. Other ADCs like Vayne, Sivir, or Tristana have the mobility to move fast enough after the walls are used, and don't rely on being stationary during their ult, while Twitch is required to not move much after using his ult since its duration is so low and you can't make much movement while autoattacking.

Four possible fixes for this are: A) Increase the ult duration. B) Make his ult like Yi's ult (the duration increases for champion kill or assist). C) Make his Q give him a dash upon activation, then after 1.5 seconds (or 4.5 seconds of not taking damage) he goes into stealth. D) All of the above.

Please consider giving Twitch a minor tweak on his ult and Q. It's hard to play the game when one pick can completely screw me over the entire game.

I think Twitch is a good example of what balance should be. He has an escape without having a get-out-of-jail-free dash. Good positioning is rewarded by pumping out a ton of damage with his ult, while bad positioning is punished by most likely dying. His 'snowball' relies more on sneaking around to other lanes to help other members on his team out as opposed to getting 1 early kill then smashing his lane opponents' face in for the rest of the game.

Riot needs to make the other ADCs more like Twitch. He could use some small QoL buffs though

Boom. Fucking. Exactly.

I've always had a firm belief that Vel'koz and Twitch are the most balanced champions in the game. However, it's not fun to play the game with the concern that I have to ban Yasuo and Braum and let more op picks through, or just suffer through the game.

His passive should revive him if he dies and he also needs %hp damage, preferably true damage

He should also get another passive that allows him to do %hp true damage every 3rd autoattack. Sounds like a pretty original and balanced concept to me.

That passive also has to have a slow and a heal too. Then it'll be fine.

only if they get rid of his stealth.

Twitch stealth is one of the strongest mechanics. He needs to compensate for his lack of early game dominance and escape. Otherwise, Pre-nerf twitch horrors will come back and three shot the whole team.

Its like people forget why they nerfed twitch.

I'm not disagreeing that a buff would be nice, but in my opinion it's not required. If you're looking at this from strictly a team fight point of view, here is my take on it: Yes, Braum and Yas walls make it difficult for Twitch to deal a significant amount of damage in a teamfight, but, you know you're playing against this champion as soon as the game begins, so going into a fight and being rendered useless by their wall / shield is your fault alone. When a teamfight is about to happen, position yourself around the possible wall, for example, wait until the fight begins, go invis and walk around the fight, or to a place where your ult can reach and the wall won't affect you. Don't pop your ult as soon as a fight breaks out even, you could always save it until the walls are gone and on CD. In my opinion a lot of successful ADC's don't participate in the fight immediately, they wait a little while and position so that they can be effective and preferably not die.

I play Twitch a lot, and I personally think he's pretty heavily powered. He can deal HUGE damage and snowball really easily, and I've never had much of an issue against Braum or Yas.

Buy youmumus, bortk and phantom problem solved. Just learn to play without the movement, and use your stealth wisely, so you have it when you need to engage or escape. However, maybe they could change his spells when his ult is on, like make his q let him dash around on a short cooldown or whatever.

It's not about his lack of mobility, his stealth makes up for that. The problem is his lack of teamfight mobility. You're pretty much not allowed to move after you pop your ult if you want to get the full use of it, and it's duration is so short that if you try to move when a Yasuo or Braum put their wall up, your ult will be gone by the time you get back in position.

Twitch is like Evelyn, any buff can easily make them OP.
