Will I still be able to enjoy Talon?

Seems like Riot is talking about a completely different version of the Talon I know.

I like the fact that he doesn't have many tools, it makes you think twice before doing anything.

I like that he has a weak early game, it makes him feel more rewarding.

I like that he is a simple champion, that's why I chose him, why does every single assassin have to be a high skill cap champion with tons of outplay potential and split-second decisions? are LCS plays really that important?

I just want to play an assassin that relies on strategy, knowing the right moment to enter the fight, what champions you should avoid, what to build, etc.

The thing that made me choose him instead of other assassins was the AOE damage. Why would I ever pick him instead of Zed/Kha'zix/LeBlanc/Fizz if not for the AOE damage? Is he gonna become just another version of Zed? I don't wanna be forced to play fucking Katarina.

And no, he doesn't look like he's gonna kill only you, HE HAS A CLOAK MADE OF BLADES, he looks like he's gonna hurt anyone who comes close to him.

I agree that he has problems, but it looks like Riot is gonna turn him into a completely different champion, I haven't played Talon that much since last season and I don't really play ranked anymore, but I'll be really sad if they turn him into Zed v2.

Also WTF is "We want Talon to use the terrain to his advantage"?

If anything, the changed will make them better and more fun. They will be more challenging and more rewarding. I trust riot with it.

This applies to pretty much every champion in the game, especially for the last two.

I'm with you on this, while i don't care how simple or complex he is and might become, i do care alot about his aoe aswell as his carefully calculated playstyle, lurking at the edge of a fight till you see the right opportunity to strike, though all assasins have that to an extend. Hoever, the AOE is really the one thing that sets Talon appart from other assasins and the main reason to pick him. He's my go to if i feel like we need heavy physical aoe damage. If this is taken away from him, i actually don't see a strategic niche left for him amongst assasins, and the niche of an mobile physical aoe-nuker would have a huge vacuum.
