i mean all memes aside, the overabundance of damage coupled with how squishy adcs are just made them useless. if you picked a hyperscaling marksman it was to play for late game, to be what your role actually entailed. sure anyone could kill you if you fucked up, but there was always a reason to play them

now I don't' see why I ever should play marksmen aside from Lucian, riot has made games shorter, everyone gets extra damage for the damage they are dealing, everyone has a counter for everything, it's hell, man
