Bond of stone is ok imo

I get that people want this replaced because it doesn't feel as game changing or lacks visibility compared to other masteries like COTC, TL, or even Grasp. However, just because a mastery works in a more passive way doesn't make it a bad mastery. As it is right now BOS fills a very specific niche that I think is a healthy niche to have. Perhaps the mastery shold be reworked so it doesn't take a keystone slot and instead is a basic mastery but I for one would like to see BOS stay in the game and continue to fill it's niche.

You can get comparable damage increases in the offensive tree so I don't think that the damage reduction is much of an issue.

Edit: and by basic mastery I meant any mastery that isn't a keystone, is this something that confused you?

On the 4% alone, you already out damage a keystone with one point in one mastery.

The only issue is, it doesn't last forever.

Bond of Stone is, however, comparable to Double-Edged Sword.

"You deal 5% increased damage from all sources, but take 2.5% increased damage from all sources."

Bond of Stone makes you take damage, 6% in fact, from allied champions. This mean divers melt your hp.

Sure and I'd love to see it continue as a viable option on taric. The thing is maybe if this mastery is good it'll widen the pool of supports we can take bottom.
