Ryze Rework v.s. Azir Nerfs

Anyone else a little miffed by the fact that Ryze is once again receiving another rework in which he gets hard-buffed, even though he is already perma-picked/banned because he's OP and obnoxious as hell, but Azir, who arguably needed another round of nerfs to deal with his current perma-pick/ban status (and because he too is OP and obnoxious as hell), got more weird nerfs that for the 800th time that are just going to feel highly uncomfortable in game? I'm just unsure how this is supposed to be a fair and unbiased way of dealing with the current midlane balance issues, considering Ryze has been such a difficult champ to deal with forever now. Again, not disagreeing with the Azir nerfs necessarily, just saying it feels pretty bad to see such obvious lack of fairness in the effort to bring order to midlane. I was hoping when they said they were reworking Ryze again they would come up with some kind of a compromise, taking some of Ryze's power in one area and giving him something new (like the new ultimate) to compensate. But instead it looks like they just rearranged his already very strong powers and scaling while giving him an overall buff. I'm not sure how this is supposed to do anything but ensure that Ryze remains perma-picked/banned, seeing as his overall strength and extreme utility now will make him an absolute necessity for most competitive team comps.

A team working to "balance" the game implies that there is fairness and lack of bias involved in the equalizing of forces within the game. However, this situation, in consideration with a legion of others, seems to fly in the face of that notion. I recognize balancing this game is a difficult job. I understand that overall you all work to try to improve the game and keep it fresh and interesting, and generally speaking you have been fairly successful in that endeavor. But these sorts of blatantly incomprehensible shenanigans makes the average player scratch their head in amazement that Riot Games actually labels this team of individuals a "balance" team. Are they confused about the situation? or just exceedingly optimistic? IDK

Um, Azir wasn't OP and hasn't been OP in literally months. Come flood me with downvotes, crying QQers.

ryze was reworked because he was incredibly toxic for the game. Too much burst and power in a champion. he also had a full VGU in the works so they were like "might as well"

reworked=/=getting buffed.
