I have come to realize that this game is NOT a team game, this is a SOLO STRUGGLE.

First off I'm in plat 4. I have found every single game I play, I am struggling and having to TRY SO HARD to win a game. The problem is I have to play literally LIGHTS OUT every single game to have a possibility at winning. If I don't go something like 15-0-10 and carry every single lane as jungle, then they lose their lane and I lose the game. I constantly get put into teams where all 3 lanes lose. Even if I am mid and win, other lanes lose and jungler does nothing. For once I would like to be able to play AVERAGE and still win a game and someone carry me. Where are all the carries in plat 4+? I havent seen any yet.

I've given up on Ranked due to how toxic and unwilling everyone is to work with each other. Even though the entire game could be easily won if we just worked together.

I can carry fine in Normals, I usually can get really fed if I play someone I'm familiar with but currently I'm trying to expand that with champions like Lux and Nidalee who I've never played before. But I just find it annoying in Ranked that people won't upgrade their trinkets, won't ward, will never communicate with the team, and flame each other for little mistakes that don't really matter.

Every day I kind of want to play Ranked, but then I just remind myself "No, It's not worth it." to deal with all of the trolls, flamers, ragers, AFK'ers, and stress when I should be enjoying the game. Sure it can be competitive but it shouldn't feel like a job.

Yeah you can mock the fact I've barely played any Ranked games and lost much more than I've won to undermine my opinion and try to invalidate it, but I'd also like to point out I've only won 4/10 games and still made it to Silver, almost exclusively playing Support. Maining Support in low elo is a really stupid idea by the way.

This. Exactly this.

It doesn't matter how good you do. If your team doesn't help out, you lose.

Well, league is sort of finetuned for premade/5v5/3v3's, SoloQ is just the cherry on top, or at least that's what it seems like.

I was playing top lane about a week ago every game, turns out once i drop the tower and join the team, either the mid lane is fed or the adc is fed (enemy) and i just surrender because it was hopeless. Its a shame my other lanes couldnt win.

I find it's best to focus on your own game play while remaining positive in your attitude that helps win. Another good strategy is to focus around your strongest potential carry and keep them alive/work around them with your comp in order to win. I had a game recently where it was 2/12 and we won because we kept our adc alive and remained positive.

Riot considers this "working as intended" to put one good player in a team with four incompetent players and match them up against 5 average players because the total ELO balances out.

The fact that this makes one team lose nearly every game doesn't bother them at all.
