You've mentioned before with Vladimir that you dislike non-interactive lanes, specifically ones where attempting to fight back gets you nowhere.

And meanwhile, Morgana.

Her kit is a too-perfect storm of utterly safe laning that's near impossible to do anything about. Her pool pushes lanes with ease and gets her farm even in some of the worst lane matchups, her passive easily lets her sustain off any damage she takes, and her black shield and dark binding makes her near-impossible to gank.

Support Morgana can be annoying, but her durability doesn't mean as much when there's another target to hit. Lane Morgana is an immovable brick wall that cannot be forced out of lane and is just waiting to land enough potshot Dark Bindings to eventually kill her opponent.

You can't kill solo lane Morg but she also can't kill you (Unless you do something stupid like run up to her) . If the Morg player wants a passive lane then have a passive lane. Champions that go tear/ roa or otherwise have long windup times appreciate passive laners like Morg.

This is funnier if you think back to the old days when Morgana was a solo laner. Support Morgana is a relatively new thing.

The key to dealing with solo Morg is to abuse her massive cooldowns. If she misses a Binding you can easily push her around because she's not going to have it up for a while and these days most champions have CC with a cooldown shorter than her level 1 Black Shield so she can't rely on that for complete safety. You might not be able to kill her without gank support but you can certainly shut her down if you know how to handle her. As for her lane, she can't farm with Corrupted Soil unless she's maxing it because its damage is very low at early levels, and if she does max it her Binding doesn't have its infamous duration behind it.

Tormented Soil only needs to be rank 3 to wave clear unless the opponent has good instant wave clear. Then you max Q by level 10 assuming one point in E.

Im going to say one thing. Solo lane more is easily countered by several champions. Go yasuo mid, wind wall the cage, etc. Go nidalee mid, spear from a distance then jump in for the kill. More can be poked down with range and as long as you can dodge her cage you are fine.

Well this is complex. I have no problem with solo lane Morgana. I'm neither for nor against it. However, Riot has made it clear this is the type of champion they do NOT want to see. Safety is what the pros want to play, and that trickles down to everyone else. Yet another inconsistency from the balance side of Riot.

Her laning is allowed to be safe because her kill pressure is low unless her opponent screws up badly (getting hit by Q or getting too close to break the tether of her R). Not getting kills is bad for her, as she becomes less of a carry and more of a support as the game goes on. Unless you are also playing a champion that needs to win early, there is not much of a reason to care about being able to get kills on her in lane.

You've obviously never laned against Nunu mid, especially if you're playing a champion that's weak early game. There is LITERALLY no way of winning that lane.
