Now that the BE system has been a thing for some time...

Someone please re-do a calculation comparison with the old IP system?

Idk, it does feel that earning f2p resources is vastly slower than what IP used to take. I am not even sure how RIot calculated the damn thing and claimed that BE gives more, because I kinda feel no way is the earn rate of the current BE model is actually higher than IP.

Not to mention, as if earning f2p currency in spikes after like 20 matches rather than gradual growth like it used to be the case isn't bad enough, you also tie your f2p currency earnings with RNG, you also soft gate the earn rate with time by loading more significance into first win of the day, AND earning BE also gets hard and harder each time you get BE (leveling up)... isn't it just a bit too much?

I've completely stopped playing new accounts and don't even look at BE anymore. I already have all the champs in the game, so BE is useless on this account. However, after about 15-18 games to level, getting an Annie shard (90 BE), 90 BE straight up, and an Anivia shard (630 BE) for a total of 810 BE just seems low...

The point is to make the grind look bad in comparison to buying stuff with real money. Once riot was bought out there conformed to the gaming norm.
