riot does not know where their issues of champions come from
first thing first, im not talking about bugs.
now, my issue is that riot now with the juggernaught update caused a stir, but they miss the point of reworking a champion. the reason you do a rework you try to fix issues they had by adjusting their kit. a prime examble of this was sion, who was all over the place and now is solidly an ad tank. however, with other champion specifically darius they are missing the point. they are trying on the pbe to buff and adjust the healing on his q where the real issue lies somethwere else.
darius had problems against ranged champions and mobile champions, with the q delay he is weaker to both, simply put it takes too long to q. and because of that the cd is a lie as it counts from after the q goes through. the fact that he cannot que up any abilities in the mean time means he is a sitting duck waiting for the q to finish.
this issue come around again and again, viegar e and so on.
this issue comes from riot trying to give champions counterplay. tell me this how do you counted darius, you stay out of range with mobility and range. now it is easier to do so and to darius harded to deal with. viegar had similar issues after his minor rework.
i understand counted play is good, but too much counter play is bad. in a perfect world where tow champs with counter play are played by two perfect people the higher range champ will win. as that champ will auto more due to being able to orb walk.
riot has also been favoring mobile champions, but when reworking the imobile champs nearly every they dont give them counter play to mobility. sion used to have counterplay to mobility on his ult, was easy to pull off and was effective, but not overpowered. riot removed it saying it was never intended.
at some point riot is just becoming tyrants removing things they dont like, like the blitz thresh pull which is not that easy to pull off and requires practice. at least they had the forthought to bring it back, but still they point stands.
riot rework team should look at champs as part of the entire league and give balance. currrently there is no balance in champions and some items.
riot here is another recommendation, make snares stop dashes but not jumps, and root stop jumps and not dashes. you want counter play do that then you have counterplay.
think of champions properly they have three parts damage, tankyness, and utility, those are the thinks that should be balanced not whether they do ad or ap damage, and how much of each. you need to know what is the most average champion regardless of the person who plays him.
