As expected AP Ez is getting nerfed and runeglaive is getting changed so that it is kept to junglers only. The only change needed was to make runeglaive not change the whole attack into magic. So I would like for them to keep the AOE no matter what is being attacked for wave clearing waves and such.
Erockandroll3 votesIt's possible that Riot would change it Regardless. AP Ez Just exploited a potential use for RuneGlaive that they don't want to support (AKA giving wave clear to champs that are not suppose to have wave clear)
Way back with that fiasco with WW. He obviously broke Challenging smite in it's form at the time. Yet arguably, it showed that it to heavily favored AA base junglers and was not Transparent enough.
I also want to point out that We saw a Smite Diana Mid today in the LCS. So we really can't even say that a sole champion broke Runeglaive anymore.
