i get that you should take multiple factors like cs/warding etc, but why are they weighed so heavily when its obvious you're carrying a game by just murdering everyone who comes near you?
like if i'm top and getting fed, 90% of the time im going to abandon farm to help with teamfights

The Great Divide1 votesYou also have to take into effect it's against all other champs played in that role. For Gragas, not many play him top, but those that do generally would do well. Especially given his kit makes him very hard to kill, while simultaneously making it easy for him to kill others. So your KDA probably isn't tremendous compared to other Gragas top laners.

The Great Divide1 votesApparently not compared to other Gragas top laners. And maybe it is better, but your farming was abysmal (don't know if it was - saying this may be an explanation). I've gotten a score like that with Anivia before and still gotten an A, because I didn't farm well at all. Farming and warding are just as important as being able to kill the enemy laner over and over.
Plus, you should never "abandon farm." I have to learn this too, but there's proper ways to manage waves and find times to clear - little gold should ever be wasted to a tower or minions in an ideal game.
