Does anyone know what Riot has against aura items? I was just informed that they had said that aura items were a no go for league. Also how come the only active disable items give is a slow?

I personally don't understand this since league is a team game and auras help your team. They really can't be abused since they generally don't give enough raw stats for carries and solo laners to be interested in them, in almost every game auras don't stack, and they tend to make the supports and support style junglers feel important when they buy them because it means that they aren't disposable when their spells are on cool down.

I'm also curious as to why the utility items that other mobas have don't have an equivalent in league. LOL doesn't have to have an exact copy of sheep stick by any means but an item with an activatable hex, silence, or fear would be pretty sweet. Id also love to see something like a force staff / tablet of command and a mek / astrolabe.
