A Quote To Summarize The State Of League

I feel this carries weight, not because I'm a fanboy, but from experience.

From my boy Bricky:

**"One person can lose you the game, but one person can't win you the game." **

This is the whole "team game" mentality we have, yet at the same time we have some people who say that the game is too snowball heavy.

What do you guys think?

Strongly dislike how it's so hard to get into the game now. Normally, everything ends or is decided before I'm even halfway done my build. It's so rare that you experience the really exciting late game teamfights now. Those are so intense and give me life.

It's team snowballing, and minimal individual impact.

This circlejerk train hasn't left station yet?

One person certainly CAN carry a game, and from any role. Every player witnesses this, and if they say they don't, they're lying.

Now how often this happens as opposed to one person causing a loss is another topic of discussion.

That you are quite the Thicc Bricc.

Anyways memes aside, I wish that the gold value of champ kills grew and dropped faster. Than a feeding teammate can’t get you too far behind, and shut down gold helped those winning to counterbalance their bad teammate. Also, no spitting up shut down gold with your team. Or at least a larger percent to the one who killed the champ.

That way it’s more of CSing that gets you ahead of your lane opponent, but less tools to get ahead of every lane in the game unless your shutting down strong enemies. Then it’s the battle of the strong rather than the battle for of the 10/2 vs the 8/3, where those two kills make way too much a difference.

the game being too snowbally and also being able to be ruined by one player arent opposites. as far as snowballing goes, the real culprits are team shut down gold (which theyre planning on getting rid of to make the game a lot more individually impactful), the squishiness of turrets combined with their team gold bonus, and the power buff you can potentially get from getting drake/herald.

I think it's wrong. I think it's (botlane wins the lane & their team has 2 braincells and plays around them) => win the game

The whole "one person can lose you the game, but one person can't win you the game," is a paradox in and of itself. The "bad person" on your team could just be losing to the "one good person" on the enemy team.

It's just people looking for a scapegoat for their loss.

This is the whole "team game" mentality we have, yet at the same time we have some people who say that the game is too snowball heavy.

Global gold snowballs lanes that aren't even involved, so you can be 0-0-0 but be losing lane because another lane lost both their turrets at 7 min. Reaching mid game at all is completely dependent on your team precisely because the game snowballs too hard preventing contributions from anyone but the worst player who is likely getting mercilessly camped.

IMO the snowball should exist, but come more from taking objectives as a team rather than one feeder creating one fed carry that completely stomps the rest of the map. Getting ahead in lane should impart an advantage, but not decide the whole game.

I understand the statement but at the same time it makes sense and should work that way.

If you can win a 1v5 easier than a 4v5 something is wrong.

The problem is and will remain powercreep. If you are expecting people to 1v5 you are asking for the powercreep to increase.
