That's probably going to be the most likely case. The Pro scene historically disables new champions for roughly 2-3 weeks before allowing them to be played.
Also, With just about any new champ or champion update, The champ is revealed just before the put it up on the PBE, and is usually given one patch cycle (Two Weeks) for testing before going live.

Risen291 votesI can't wait for the rework to be released. I bought Yorick on sale a few days ago just to be able to experience what he was like before the rework. I am quite confident I will enjoy the reworked Yorick because I like minion summoning pushers in HOTS, unless his pushing power is rather weak and he feels like just another top lane bruiser.
I started to get concerned as I enjoyed the old Yorick if the new one would be as good. Being the ultimate lane bully can be a lot of fun. And his ultimate can win games if put down on a good adc at the right time. Although I can see why people have a problem with him. If you didn't crush your lane and get fed then you might struggle to be effective. I wasn't that effective with him in the long run and started to tire of him, looking forward to his rework even more.

BUNYANSaxe19431 votesI pressed R in midlane while we were pushing an inhibitor and the maiden decided to walk in top lane when I teleported to their blue side outer turret. I guess my question is how can Yorick push two lanes when Maiden has such a hard on for Yorick's cloak that she follows to his TP point through the enemy jungle? Am I misunderstanding the Maiden Ai or is it actually broken?
