The future of Lucian.

I know this is jumping the gun but are you going to have any buffs for Lucian after crit changes? I know we haven't seen them, but I'm going out on a limb and say the changes will be a nerf to adcs as a whole with any changes made to ER and IE in the near future. Lucian is borderline playable for a one trick right now(me), but any change in to adc as a group for some reason leaves him in a very much weaker state and usually bottom of the pack winrate wise.

"Borderline playable" is extremely hyperbolic when it comes to Lucian. He's a mechanical champion, which makes winrates a really bad measure to assess his actual performance (see also: Ryze, Riven, Azir, Kalista, Shen, Galio, etc.) and balance changes for him are dangerous since good players who are able to use him can easily turn him into a monster. There was a recent Riot blog post about him (I forget by whom) which addressed his current balance in the meta, and the honest answer is that Lucian's overall power is currently underestimated, as he has favourable matchups that he easily rolls over. It's unlikely that he'll be seeing changes until after the Marksmen item update.

The only problem I can see with Lucian atm is he falls off hard lategame, they have tried to buff his lategame a bit but he's still behind the others.

There's no reason a Lucian should be totally unstoppable until Tristina got 6 slotted, In pervious seasons this was manageable, but items build too fast and scale too much.

More ADC's should scale more the way Sivir or Caitlyn do, strengths that carry into the late game even if they aren't scaling strengths. Maybe the item changes will address this .. or maybe not.

I haven't given this much thought but I think it would be a neat addon to his kit if hey gave his W a damage multiplier since right now it seems everyone thinks that his W is just an excuse to use his passive.

Keep W the same, but add this: Targets affected by Ardent Blaze now receive 100% damage from the second shot from Lightslinger.

It'd make crit builds even more potent since you'd be looking at two fat IE crits in a row.

I'm sure I'm not the first to propose a change like this but it's something I could think of that would make him as busted as he was when he had longer ranges on his Q and autos.

I speak for the majority of the LoL base

we don't want Lucian to be good, not unless he is reworked into something less cancer.
