The biggest problem with making 2x Elder Dragons a Win Condition

It's just very anti-climactic

Imagine we're watching MSI grand final go to game 5, and the game 5 is super intense, both teams are going ham and staying even. Then all of a sudden, one team manages to sneak their 2nd elder drake by DPS-bursting it down before the other team can get there (ring a bell?)

GG, game ends, just over an objective steal.

Why did Riot make 2x Elder Drake a win condition you ask? Because they had a knee-jerk reaction to the SKT vs JAG 94 minute match.

Will this be for our games too or just pros?

They're referring to the change that already happened, where elder dragons beyond the first give a twice as strong buff.

It's not literally a win condition, but in ultra late game where two elders are a thing and most likely everyone is full build, that kind of buff may as well be a win condition.

That's not anticlimactic at all tho. They'll crush a teamfight with the double elder buff or get caught out and lose it. I thought they meant just game over that's it when you get 2 elders.

I mean, I agree about the kneejerk reaction. And the lousy balancing in both Baron and dragon.

The endings are more anticlimatic without it. It forces a fight at the elder rather than it being just another thing you can ignore and try to stall until the buff is over. Otherwise it's just wait for baron, then rotate lane to lane just poking down objectives until you win through map control. Having this condition forces the game to reach its finale quicker
