Tankiness VS Squishiness

Sentence said a lot in the game lobby "We are way to squishy, we are going to lose"

Sentence never said in the game lobby "We are way too tanky, we are going to lose"

What does this tell you about the nature of tankiness? My feeling is this: Tanky champions may do less damage, but it is usually not so much less than other champions, while their tankiness is MUCH more than the other champions. I think some tanks are really quite OP.

A team of five tanks doesn't work; can you just imagine them all trying to knock down a tower? You need a balance squishies and tanks to have an effective team.

The problem is more that people gravitate towards "carry" champions because nobody trusts their team, and we end up with a squishier comp than anyone would want.

"We don't have an adc. We are going to lose"

Heard this one before

That's because you can't properly play a poke comp in SoloQ.

Actually I have heard the comments "Don't go x champion we need more damage". Having too litttle damage can cost you the game specially after the adc starts healing out of your tanks.

Actually, I have asked for more damage in a team composition before.

Pick Order:

  • Nunu Jungle (Me)
  • Ivern Top
  • Jinx ADC
  • I forget which champion, but it was a utility mid-laner

I was very happy when our support locked in Brand.
