How do you consistently win in season 8?

Honest question. I'm struggling to find something I can consistently influence the game this season. What have you guys found that works?

there is no real answer since every 2nd patch this season is a pretty big patch. half the meta changes every 2 patches. but the base rule always applies: you can win with every champ. better play your best champ, who isnt meta, instead of playing the best meta champ but failing on it

You don't, tbh. This game is a total luck draw now.

I just play a lot of Ahri.

Assassins are strong rn. She's like an assassin who fused with a mage, so she's actually useful when behind, unlike most assassins. She's also decent against most fighters.

No idea. If you find out, let me know. I always seem to get more losses than wins regardless of how well or consistent I play. Something always happens whether it's trolls, toxicity, or feeding. I drop, then go up. Drop, then go up. It's ridiculous.

For me, I look at what is missing from my team or for any noticible weaknesses and just play something to cover the for it. I normally play fill (so jungle and Support) so I can play things to fill in for, frontline, burst, sustain, or cc. After that I just pray that people do what there suppose to do and try my best to make dealing with me an objective the enemy has to play around.

destroying the enemy's nexus seem to help me win a lot.

Eliminate loosing conditions. I climbed out of s1 to p5 by playing veig mid and just not letting enemies take towers. Loosing condition for me was loosing the nexus. Enemies cant kill the nexus if they cant damage it, for that i had to keep towers alive. I didnt follow objectives, i didnt help teammates, i didnt follow jungler or my enemy laner, i just pushed all waves i could, farmed all jungle i could and stalled the game long enough for either enemy to start making mistakes, my team to stop making mistakes or enemy leaving because the game was taking too long to complete ( +1.5h). By starting to ignore everything but minion waves, my lp jumped from +16 per win to +25 for win.

A change in mindset is all it takes really. Play champions that you really enjoy playing and the skills needed to make an impact will result from that. Also, don't tilt easily, that helps a bunch.

Well, your op.gg doesn’t show any games played, so we can’t help you. Is this your main account?

Stop trying to win. Focus on not feeding and playing smart. Let the matchmaker do the rest. You will win slightly more than you lose. 40% of your games your team will feed, 20% of games, the enemy team will feed and 40% of games will go even, which are the games you decide. Play as if every game will be an even game and most times, simply not feeding will help to win in the end.

look up a bunch of info about the game, then apply those tips to your games. After watching a bunch of YouTube videos, I found that I was winning games a lot more often than before. It used to be where I would be losing almost every game, without knowing what I did wrong and how I could fix it. But after watching some higher elo people play I could take their lessons and learn how to correct my mistakes.
