Did the WotA changes destroy Vlad? I have been having trouble doing well with him ever since.

I never played him a whole lot, but I did have many games where I would be able to go into teams and solo the team pretty much. Ever since the WotA changes I haven't had one game where I can "take over" the game. Matter of fact most games I am either around even or below. I've thought about just buying the Hextech Gunblade for the 20% vamp instead of WotA and maybe a nashors to try to complement it with some CDR, but I really don't know if this would be a ridiculous build or not.

I never upgrade to wota until its my last item... all you need is the vamp from hextech

Basic build is cdr boots hextech zhonya... then pick your poison: rylai for kiting/rabadon for more damage and then throw in a void staff

I dont get it, wasn't wota straight up buffed? it heals based on damage done before resistances now right?

it heals less against things with less resistances, aka minions which he loves healing off of.

It heals for 15% where as the other was 20% spell vamp, also its reduced to 5% for aoe spells.

Edit: will try just using hextech

And Aoe doesn't heal you for shit... which was nice.

Yes, item 3152 does more damage against targets with resistances, but that's something for late-game when the enemies have items. Until then, item 3145 heals more off of things that don't have any resistances.

The WOTA changes did make him less snowbally - it's a lot better when you're behind but if you get super far ahead it just doesn't make you the unkillable god it once did.
