Riot: You Want Faster Games?

Games are being ended earlier and earlier, but winning teams like to take their time. "Nah, let's make our scores better. Further make the losers miserable." Make the time we can ff 15 minutes, not 20. If by 15 minutes they're taking an inhibitor, the game is over. If by 15 minutes they're acing with no losses under the other team's tower, the game is over. But the game doesn't end until 20 minutes passes, and that's a long fucking time in League. It's absolute torture just sitting there and waiting for them to end.. but they won't.. so you go out to farm and die the second you pass your inhibitor because they're sitting just outside the wall. Oh, sure, you can go ward it.. and die. Or maybe you can.. die. Or!.. Nope, wait, you're dead again.

Make the games shorter, make the surrender wait shorter. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

I don't know what everyone is talking about, with the shorter games. I have been playing all day today (11/12) and my average game is about 30 minutes with my longest one to be around 40. People just aren't adapting to the changes yet. I for one love the rift herald; it actually brings some usefulness into the top part of the map besides red buff and baron after 20 minutes. I love the fact that you can push really fast after 7 minutes. If you lost mid tower @ 8 minutes, that is either your fault or your junglers. What is most likely going to happen if they continue pushing past the T1 turret, then your teammates can come gank the laner and get gold (global gold?) or they will counter push other lanes and you should capitalize that opportunity to counter. If turrets are so easy to kill then it sohuldn't be a problem, no? Lol it just seems people are having a hard time adapting. I love it. [slayer-pantheon-rainbows]

Just have to blame the Jungler.

Out of nowhere.

Junglers fault.

My average game time since patch is like 30 minutes over 9 games on this account. My ten pre-patch games had an average time of 35 minutes. Games are faster. Harder snowballs. Jungler is gimped currently, not enough money to get items to make a difference, particularly early. They took off Gold Per Kill from jungle item. Struggle to get upgraded knife which helps in ganks.

If a solo laner gives up a solo kill and I can't immediately clean it up that lane is pretty much done for me, cause the solo can more often 1v2 to get to safety or take someone with him, seeing as how both me in jungle and ally laner are going to be underleveled and underfunded.

That being said, if I do get an early kill from Jungle I feel like I'm going to carry the game from there. Return ganks seems to crush a lane more than ever.

Half of my 40+ minute games player during last season only went 40+ minutes cause my team didn't know how to end. Sadly, people always dick around in stomps opposed to just closing out a boring game. Game now seems to be idiot proof when it comes to ending. If sidelane wins and rotates mid, or mid wins a 1v1 or gets a good gank the turret can fall really easily, and not much can be done 4v5 to stop the siege.

I kind've don't want a 15 minute surrender feature, because last year it got spammed like crazy in winnable situations, but at the same time if game is going to go so fast it's needed. On this account, looking through my play history over the last 24hr, only like 2 games felt competitive beyond 15 minutes. Also, early surrender means getting out of the 4v5 games earlier when a dude doesn't connect.

I would only blame the jungler if you backed and they were around mid and neglected to go to your lane fully knowing that the enemy laner would push and most likely get the tower. Objectives > jg creeps and out of my 15ish games i played yesterday they lasted an average 30-40 minutes with a few very early games, like 20 or 25 minutes. To be honest, if you have two teams that are of equal skill then they should last longer than 30 minutes.
