I want him to be as badass as this. Why not rework him already. He gets bullied by every single champion in the game. He doesn't fit any lanes. Only good thing about him is that he gets a pet dragon which is completely flawed due to location of the dragon pit. He is slow, squishy early-mid and gets kited to oblivion. Make him cool. Give him a knock up like in the trailer. He hits the ground shatters it and knocks up. Also he needs a total make over. Whats up with his feet. Cmon riot. With all these new champs ignoring walls, gap closers etc.. Morde really needs something. His kit needs to be cool and badass.

Edit: He cant even get close to carries due to supports and their items being broken. Or Janna shielding every 2 seconds. Existence of Ardent too. (I had to squeeze that in. I hate Ardent with passion)

Thematically they'll need to tone down the heavy metal theme, and increase the armored wraith theme.

Gameplay-wise they need to choose between two identities:

A) Lane push/bully/oppressive

B) Damage threat if he catches you

Right now he's both and that's why he's got to have profound weaknesses

Option A would play up and his passive idea and AoE, but tone down or rework his ulti and Q

Option B would play up on his Q and Ulti while mostly reworking his passive and AoE spells

Right now his huge weaknesses are mobility and if the enemy knows how his kit works

I want to believe he'll be the next rework after Swain, but I don't know. I just want him to be a mid lane juggernaut like the good old days.

Edit: Giving him Hercules' 2 from Smite would be really fun.

As a Mordekaiser main, I strongly desagree. However after 35min the game, you're not suppose to play anymore.

I'd like him to be more tanky with sustained damages(necrosis style) instead of burst damages. He also needs a new death animation. Keep the current one only for the pentakill skin, he is not turned into heavy metal in his lore lol Concerning the bullying, don't worry, you can wreck most toplaners with ease or goes toe to toe at least though ranged champ or champs with mobility are indeed an annoyance
