Does Riot do something about this? Do i have to see the same toxicity after every game? I report them no matter what even if they are on my team. No one thinks you are pro and you had such an easy game when you say gg ez. Its just completely toxic and im sick of seeing this after every game... We had a 4v5 game i asked them to report our afk. One of them says no and spams gg ez, izi game etc... Why is this allowed?

It is toxic behavior and can lead to someone's punishment.

That's just plain stupid. People have the right to speak their minds. If we went around disallowing anything and everything people said then we would be like robots in a authoritarian game. Not to mention anything can be considered offensive, there is always someone who gets offended by something.

You might as not have a chat system if you gonna cry about this sort of thing.

  1. You don't need to ask people to report anyone for any reason. If you want someone reported, you report them.
  2. The fact that people say it doesn't mean it isn't punished. People need to violate the rules before they get punished.

Stop asking people to report for you, 1 report is plenty. And stop getting offended by little things.

Maximum Morde10/10/2016, 3:30:43 PM1 votes

If you report them and they get reported enough they will get punished for it

I think the fact that there are so many "get a thicker skin" comments in why this is such a terrible community. Turn a blind eye, don't let it affect you. This Doesn't make the community any less toxic. I have played many MMO's and team games and league has one of the worst communities and this whole get a thicker skin is one of the main reasons. If you continually just let ppl be assholes to others the community will never change. Sure don't let it bother you, people will be assholes. But don't let them get away treating ppl like shit.

"i asked them to report our afk"

I broke the rules (asking for a report), and had my feelings hurt when they broke he rules in response.

It may not be sportsman like but its not really toxic. As long as they aren't harassing you or using hate speech I don't see it as punishable. Trash talking just comes with any game that has a competitive nature, as long as its not excessive, you should take it for what it is and move on.

A majority of players find ggez toxic. But its intensity level is pretty low compared to a lot of other toxic chat. It might end up being the straw that breaks the camel's back, but it won't get anyone banned on its own. You could mute the enemy team 30 seconds before they win to prevent yourself from potentially knowing that the people on the enemy team are rude :)

/all gg ez Ezreal: Thanks!

On a more serious note, I find "gg wp" after a game with an AFK, a feeder, a troll or whatever much more negative, than "gg ez" or "bg ez" could ever be.

At least they are honest and not directly insulting in a "fuck you"-like way.

I don't really know what to think about this type of thing. It doesn't bother me at all nor do I ever bother to say it. I'm more of a "Good game everyone" type of person, win or lose. That said, I know ggez is considered a reportable offense, but that isn't the same thing as a bannable offense. It's like being tilted in game and reporting a teammate for "unskilled", literally nothing happens. I personally feel like so many people just report out of saltiness because they lost, and will constantly/desperately look for a reason to report them.

Telling other players to report someone else is also toxic and ALSO can result in punishment.

Personally, GGEZ doesn't bother me...Yet, it IS rude and I believe against the rules in certain circumstances, therefore punishable.

People should look at most major sporting events, the rules of conduct get tighter and tighter each year...I kind of look at "GGEZ" as flipping the finger at your opponent and one recent thing I recall is a Pro FB player getting fined 10 grand for it. LOL

So, OP your opinion is valid :)

Ah this is how sensitive this community has gotten...
