Lucian nerfs on the PBE have me worried

From the PBE 5.23 early notes

Lucian Base attack damage lowered to 57.46 from 59.46 The Culling (R): Damage changed to 25/45/65 per shot from 40/50/60 AD Ratio changed to .15 TOTAL AD from .25 BONUS AD [IMPORTANT NOTE: Beluga Whale has noted on reddit the intention is this to be a change from .25 bonus AD to .15 TOTAL AD and that the tooltip is incorrect in today's PBE Build.]

Almost half the damage from his ult at early ranks with a lower AD ratio?

How am I supposed to gank as jungle Lucian?

But seriously, I feel that this is quite a huge knock at early game Lucian, something he needs the strength in since he doesn't do well when he isn't ahead. I really hope most if not all of the changes aren't final, because Lucian was just getting some high ELO play as a safe pick. In my opinion Miss Fortune is actually stronger, and she got CDR buffs ._.

Damage live ult, level 6, 40 bonus AD: 20 x (40 + 0.25 x 40) = 1000

Damage PBE ult, level 6, 107 total AD: 20 x (25 + 0.15 x 107) = 821

Pre-5.22 ult, level 6, 40 bonus AD, 14 shots: 14 x 50 = 700

Compared to the situation before patch 5.22, the PBE numbers are still a buff to Lucian. On live, his ult is completely crazy, with its damage being higher than the base HP of many champions at that level.

I saw lucians 100-0 people with no feed with ult only ( gosu spams him and its ridicilous to watch) Deserved nerf, honestly.

His whole kit is based on short range huge power. Plus, using his ult to 100-0 people isn't op. If you take an entire culling to the face you deserve the damage, its a skill shot that can only stay casted in one direction. That's like saying MF is op because her ult is even worse that Lucians because it can crit. They are mega power wombo's, you have to dodge them or take the damage. I was watching gosu too, and he was almost 3 shot by miss fortune auto attacks when he was 2/3/2 and she was 2/1/1. Lucian has been nerfed and buffed back and forth too much, and he was just starting to become a safe a viable pick. Imo graves or MF shouldv'e been the focus, not another Lucian nerf.

You should look at the awesome post ProfDrDeath made. It has some good numbers. Whats really broken on Lucian is the free 8 damage per auto attack from the Fervor of Battle keystone. And it looks like they are kinda keeping his other abilities okay so he can keep his low range skirmisher feel. If lucian were to Q auto E auto into ult combo, he will only have to hit 1/4 of his ult to finish you from full as it stands.

Miss Fortune's ult can do well over what Lucian's ult ever can do and to potentially an entire team, but at least they can CC her or walk out of it. With Lucian you're kind of forced to take it. Even AP Lucian is kind of overboard (yes I like AP Lucian Mid) with his ult.
