@Riot Why did jungle gold income get nerfed

They increased the gold given on large monsters by a 6-7 gold increase but we lose 15 gold on tier 1 jungle items and 30 gold on tier 2. Now our jungle item now costs 200-400 gold more, meaning that if you don't snowball you actually have the least impact on the game. The support items and minions in lane all give more gold now, so everyone gets more money now while the jungler gets less. This is a massive nerf to the jungle role this season.

I've started basing as soon as I can afford hunter's potion and then going back to the jungle. You get pretty much unlimited sustain and you can farm and gank to your heart's content

I'm not so sure supports won't be getting less gold too. Support items give more gold, but they also removed assist streaks, which was a major source of support income (at least in some games).

Jungler income is a bigger concern for me at the moment though. Not quite sure what prompted these changes, or what the desired effect is.
