Why is First Win of the Day every 22 hours and not 24?
Seems a little strange.
Seems a little strange.
This allows people to establish a routine where they can always get their win of the day at the same time of day. Games are rarely over 1 hour, and people in theory have a 50% win rate, so two hours should be enough for at least two games.
So for example, someone might work all day, have dinner and chill with family/friends for a bit, and then at 8 play a game of league, and have to go to bed at 10. It might be a 30 minute game, and suppose they won. Then if it was a 24 hour reset, then the next day their win of the day would only be available at 8:30. They might not win their game then, and have to play another, and only actually get their win at 9:20. The next day they could only get their win at 9:20 on a 24hour system, and now they might find themselves stuck in a really long game that drags them past 10 o'clock and they may not even win. Now this person actually misses out on their win of the day, despite playing every day, as a 24 hour reset causes things to slowly creep forwards.
With the 22 hour reset on the other hand, theres no forward creep.
Thank you for the explanation!
Because it takes an hour to play a game, and sometimes the first game isn't a win so they didn't want the timer to keep getting pushed back for people. I think it's nice.
are you sure its 22 hrs ?
are you calculating time you take playing the game to get the 1st win of the day bonus ?
does it matter ?
If I only get 1-2 hours to play after work and if I win then the following day my daily win timer won't be up when I play again
22 hours reset problem solved
They could have it reset every day at midnight instead.

same problem if you play before or after midnight.
