Just a small One for All Rant

Just had two games today where 3 people would pick something and hold two other people hostage in that pick. First it was a Morgana game that went okay, and second was a Cait game where we got stomped.

If 4 people are required to vote yes for a surrender, then 4 people should have to pick a champion in OFA in order for it to be majority. These double standards cause toxic games.

In the Morgana game the three man premade who picked Morgana were toxic all game, calling us names and saying we had to listen to them and what they said or they'd afk in base. Very unpleasant people who just made the "fun" mode unfun. In the Cait game the three people just poked at us. The game is 6 to 17 and they're going "why are you so mad" "this is fun not ranked just shut up". Another "fun" game made unfun.

TL;DR Why is OFA determined by a 3 person majority, while surrender is a 4 man majority? It's just double standards.

Definitely agree on the cherrypicking Riot does when it comes to majority in these circumstances. However, it is a fun mode, so try to have fun with it the best you can

I say we do away with majority in OFA pick entirely. Sure YOU only experienced a 3 man, but for every 4 man there is 1 guy getting screwed there too. I understand that if they have the 80% chance to force yet another Blitzcrank game that I'm probably screwed, but at least let me roll the dice on my 20% chance and MAYBE not have to play another zero fun champ.

Premades should not be allowed in OFA unless it is a premade of 5.

even if three people vote for the same champion it does not mean its guarenteed to get it. They just have a higher chance of getting it

You know, I had a game where two 40% picks lost to a 20%, had fun. But then I had game where the 40% was Darius and it won. Boy was I annoyed, but wait theirs more. We end up vs Lux..... We got stomped, but the thing is, as the 20 min mark hit, the surrender votes started flooding in and it was the ones who picked him. 3 of us would not surrender and drag those 2, in for a hour long game of run at or run away from Lux.... what fun.

They could limit OFA to only allow a duo or full premade team.

So, just out of curiosity, in 9 out of 10 games when you don't have 4 or more players select the same champion, what's going to happen? Does the game just not start? I mean, what's the alternative - do you want a random champion selected resulting in a smaller percentage of players being happy with the outcome, compared with the champion that got the most selected?
