Is Nocturne in an ok spot right now?

Or does he need some help? I am thinking about a new jungler, and I am stucked between getting Kha Zix and Nocturne, I want a good ganker with good damage, but Nocturne is a rare sight these days, so it is possible hes underwhelming, so I thought I just ask about his position in the jungle.

as a nocturne main for 2 years hes in a spot where he can perform OK, but there are just better junglers. right now shyvana and yi are like the devourer kings and graves, poppy, nidalee, and gragas are the early pressure picks. so all in all hes not the best pick but hes more of a niche pick. He could use a buff on his passive IMO to where it scales with lifesteal and honestly that would make a lot of his problems go away.

Depends on playstyle and preference but i would say Kha is in a better spot right now. Nocturne has not been touched in a while but i've seen some really good Nocturne players

He is ok, not great not bad. If you get a kill early you can go damage and burst, but he is very lackluster if behind. Kha on the other hand is not a good ganker (in the traditional sense). He is good at counter ganks because the enemy will lose focus on being seperated, but alone he doesn't provide a ton of cc that might be needed and if counterganked you will lose the battle most of the time.

Nocturne is in a spot where he really is not tank enough to dive, not burst enough to assisinate, and has long cool down with being mana hungry.

He does have one of the strongest level two hanks in the game as he can start red hit lvl 2 and imdiatly gank mid. He is good at splitting and killing split pushers.

But he is kinda like eve. Just doesn't do anything well enough to shine. He is by no means bad but he just is not that great.

He is in the best spot since his nerf back in season 3 right now. He will remain lack luster until the rework his passive or change his fear mechanics as the fact the enemy runs away from you upon fear hurts him in 7 out of 10 cases.

What, Nocturne does absurd damage to squishy targets. I can legit one shot people with ult Q auto combo. Like all you have to do on Noc to succeed is to do a rush six clear and then gank bot, cause they will most likely be level 5 while your 6. And most junglers wont try to invade you unless they are smart so you can typically do a rush 6 clear with ease.

Here's a video on how it works:

Try him in top lane...he is unstoppable. As far as jungler goes....meh

Nocturne is ok. Kha imo is utter garbage. Rumble on the other hand is completely broken. Korea really knows what's up. Like legit if you want to deal the most damage all the time then play Rumble, he has the second highest damage output of all the junglers.

IMO: nocturne in the jungle is better with the (excuse my wordplay) Jugger-Noc build. I usually get cinderhulk(stalker's blade) then into some situational items. If you get ahead I like to buy a Dead man's plate or a Titanic hydra then go into a Black cleaver. after that I will go a Sterak's if they have a large amount of burst dmg, or if they have a lot of magic dmg I'll buy a visage. if they have a blitz or other irritating champ like that i'll buy a veil my finished build usually looks likeitem 1320 item 1401 item 3071 item 3748 item 3742 item 3053 . This is coming from somebody who has played nocturne for quite a while, but I'm no Noc main so I may be wrong. however the tankiness and dmg make Noc's normal stickiness even worse than if he were an assassin, and he has an amazing teamfight engage with his ult combined with the fact he can tank the enemy team's spells with his spellshield and still be effective.

Noc is sustained damage and is squishy. Not great atm.
