Your chat focused policing of accounts is a joke. Its inconsistent not only between specific types of banned behavior but you dont even have the same standards between servers internationally. IE Korea vs NA. I'm not chat restricted. I'm not banned. That is only because you've made speaking on EU or NA servers a crime. So now I don't use your chat function. Its "mute all" every game. I used to be honorable before the "honor" system, but any arbitrary conversation that hurts some child's feelings can lose you all of that in 1 game. Since that 1 game that lost my honor, i quit caring to try communicating with chat or trying to raise my honor back up. What's the incentive?

I created 2 smurfs for an experiment. The first only trolled games but never used chat and the second tried hard to win but I'd use chat freely (not trying to start fights in game, but I didnt audit my speech). Guess which account never got touched? The troll account. I was so disgusted by the results I haven't touched either of them since. Also, ironically the game that ended the "using chat" account was me pointing out someone was being racist. So I had an account permanently banned for typing "Thats really racist" and "I'm reporting you for being racist". GJ Riot.

I'm playing this game less and less and it has nothing to do with gameplay updates. I actually like the gameplay and champion changes. I like the constant patching. I submitted a support ticket asking "to what extent is banter still allowed?". Here's the response

Well, really with the enemy its more there for complimenting, wishing luck, showing good sportsmanship. I wouldn't engage with them either just because you run the risk of your words getting misconstrued. : /

Wow. Just wow. Great player interaction. In 2015 when I started playing this game I filled my list up with people. Sometimes people would add each other after shit talking in all chat to 1v1 (which was an awesome aspect of the game) and then those "flamers" became people I'd play with after. Why? Because its a competitive game and competitive spirits have always been full of piss and vinegar. That's how we bond ffs.
in 2017 I added 2 people. Its 2018 and I've not only added 0 new league players to my list, but I've deleted 80 players who quit playing. I now only have a friends list of ppl I know IRL and have no expectations to make any new additions. I mean its kinda hard to talk and banter when its better to "mute all" every game.
