League is no longer intuitive.

In season 1, every champion made sense. You read skill, you understand it and how to play it.

Now, every skills are crammed with passive, tons of utility and weird mechanics.

Every remake adds on the complicity.

Even the paragraphs of tooltips misses to fully explain what a skill does.

There is no room for a beginner now. It's just stagnant pool left to rot.

Amen. Just reading about Ekko's multiple passives not to mention Jhins, among others, gives me a headache, champion design seems to indicate the game wants to become more complex, but somehow it has never felt more stat-stick like than ever. Just take duels in toplane for instance, in previous seasons it was paramount to manage your creepwave and knowing when was the time to go for a trade, now the lane is generally just won by the champion with the biggest stick simply because the damage creep has become unreal.

Theres way too many passives on newer champions. Like I recently found out Yasuos R refreshes his shield AND gives him free armor pen. Like why does it do all that? Arent his TWO passives free shield and double crit chance powerful enough?
