zoliking1 votesThe longest games I've been in were 60-70 minutes long. The story is always the same: one team gets an advantage in early or mid game, the players get unfocused and start running around the map randomly like a swarm of coked up sewer rats who got dumped on hot asphalt, no amount of pinging or comments manage to get them to focus on pushing for objectives and ending the game, finally the other team catches up to max itemization and from there the game ends randomly in the favor of whichever team happens to find a few good picks first.

JoeAnarchy1 votesi was in an almost 70 min ranked game back in S7 that my team eventually won.. it was just 2 full build teams, absolute skill expression, back and forth taking inhibs, fighting over objectives.. it was so much fun! god i miss those days!! <3 people can say what they want about the ardent meta, but games lasted longer, tanks actually tanked (because they'd usually have ardent empowered shields) ADCs were free to actually do sustained damage instead of having to build burst.. it really was just a better time.. of course that's my opinion, i know other people will disagree..

I immediately regret looking it up though, because I found while I placed 122 total wards that game with 5 control wards, the enemy support only placed 15 with no control wards, no one else on both teams bought control wards except the enemy jungler....
And our top laner only placed 4 wards during that 68 minute game. I mean...Jesus, that's bad.
