Why is Warmog's ok?

I honestly just don't understand how it can be ok to have this item exist.

Riot says they want champions to interact more (ex: why they are planning on nerfing waveclear accross the board)... and then we have Warmog's, who basically makes a lot of interactions utterly pointless. You can't poke someone with warmog's, you can't harass them, you can't do a light skirmish and back off. The only way you are allowed to interact with a champion with warmog's is to kill that champion. Anything beyond that will be punished as you watch the enemy's health go back to 100% in less than half a minute, regardless of ressources spent. I mean I guess you could say that from the standpoint of the person WITH warmog's it does encourage interactions... dumb ones where, as long as you don't die, you come out on top.

It'd be another story if it actually took some time for the passive to do its work, like maybe the heal starts off at a lower value and it ramps up over time, but it doesn't. No, you literally go back to full health in less time than it takes for a minion wave to spawn. Maybe if it actually required you to do something to get all of that health back beyond not being in range of enemy champions, but no.

To be quite honest, I don't even know if the item is overpowered, my issue with it is how much it warps the game. I thought the answer to poke comps was engaging, not quite literally nullifying everything they do. Maybe someone can explain to me how it's supposed to be a healthy part of League, because I really don't see it.

I assume you're talking about ARAM (since you can go back in SR, but if it's not the case I just feel like a dumbo) but I agree that this item is anti-fun in ARAM, and it's not "countering poke". Countering should require an action to be done, hiding and being at full hp after 3sec isn't "countering"

Not sure what you are referring to but could you get a concrete example of warmogs being op ? Warmogs imo is quite balanced. It does it jobs, for the cost and hp bonus/hp regen. No additional armor nor MR. Also, if you have a poke comp, just poke him till he has to stay back and recover. Dont waste anything and either use that window to engage or just back off. I dont see any problems or losses there.

In competitive play, tanks buy warmog, teamfights and barely survives at 10% hp, wait for the recovery but in that time fights already over and they either back off or pushes. It is what warmogs is suppose to do.

Cuz tanks don't get life steal and the item isn't useful in combat. Plus it's not like any champ builds it, only tanks do.

The millions of high %hp damage that they give every single champion now.

Warmog's may look OP but it's pretty much trash. You're giving up utility towards your team or much needed items just so you can heal a little bit faster.
