There isn't much to say other than this game is pretty stupid in the ranking system, unbalanced and severely flawed. It's apparently only for suckers.
Good luck with the insanity trip everyone!

the 40 ip lost mean your personal mmr is much lower than the division's mmr , basically this is the system's way of telling you need to be demoted

Actually, you lose LP for each match you lose in the series, and gain LP for each one you win.

Let's say you gain 20 LP per match and lose 20 per match. If you lose your first 2 games and drop straight out of the series, that's -40 LP. If you win one then lose 2, that's -20 LP.

If you don't want to lose so much when you lose the series you need to win a match (or up to 2 if in tier series).

It just means that you hit 100 lp exactly and when you lost those two games it took you down what you would have in lp. I'd you had won those two you would have been at 0 lp but with a buffer of at least two games before any chance of going down. That's the pattern I have seen. And if you were at sag 97 lp and then won 3 in a row to move up the buffer I have experienced is up to five or six games

all i hear is boo hoo i suck at league, i started bronze 5, made my way to gold 1 solo q, occasionally playing with a friend that jus started league a few months ago, now we both in gold 1 cause i carry him and occasionally he does well. only downfall with ranked games is that u get noobs or trolld on ur teams especially in series, but hey im almost play from bronze 5. if u cant handle it, dont play the game :)
