RIOT LIKES TO ENCOURAGE RANKED AFK BY DOING NOTHING

What is wrong with you RIOT?

SERIOUSLY.

You have a MASSIVE problem in Bronze with ranked players going afk... yet the penalties apparently are not getting more severe. The problem is happening more and more.

WHY IS THERE CONSTANTLY AFKERS??????

A normal person playing a RANKED GAME goes afk only in emergencies, they have planned out their time and have chosen to play ranked. WHY DO YOU ALLOW CONSTANT AFKERS TO PLAY RANKED GAMES. MY TEAM LOST A GAME BECAUSE A PLAYER BOUGHT STARTING ITEMS AND DID NOTHING ELSE- THEN WE STILL LOST THE SAME AMOUNT OF POINTS AS IF THERE WAS 5 PEOPLE PRESENT?

YOU NEED TO BE MORE SEVERE ON THESE JERKS- ARE YOU SCARED TO FIX YOUR GAME? OR DO YOU FIND IT FUNNIER THAT PEOPLE TRY TO TAKE IT SERIOUSLY AND WE GET SCREWED BY THE AFKERS?

IF SOMEONE REALLY WANTED TO FIX THIS THEY WOULD TIE THE TOTAL NUMBER OF AFKERS IN RANKED GAMES TO PAYCHECKS. I AM CERTAIN THE PROBLEM WOULD BE FIXED IMMEDIATELY.

IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO TAKE YOUR GAME MORE SERIOUSLY- THEN WHY SHOULD WE? YOUR RANKING SYSTEM IS APPARENTLY JUST A JOKE. THE "ELITE" PLAYERS ARE JUST LUCKY ENOUGH TO NOT HAVE GOTTEN BAD GROUPS- ANYONE THAT SAYS OTHERWISE IS IN DENIAL.

Deep breaths. Anyway, first off, the system can't be more severe for just such a reason, because afks at times do happen, IRL does happen so doing it everyone once in a while, you gonna have it happen to you, or you are gonna afk too, just think of it as karma.

Second, while the ranked system isn't perfect, if you can't leave bronze 5, it is because you are bad, not gonna sugarcoat it, sorry buddy.

Most of you commenters do not seem to get the point of the post, you only see the caps lock and treat it as a player raging. The point is that an AFK in ranked punishes the entire team that the AFK player is on. Those 4 remaining players now have to watch any chance of winning dwindle away, then at the 20 minute mark throw up the surrender vote or fight valiantly until they succumb to defeat. Then, to top off a minimum of 20 minutes of knowing you are going to lose and just having to take it, every single player still loses the LP that would have normally been lost. Nothing is fair about that. LP loss should be reduced, I don't care if the winning team still gets the same LP (though they shouldn't), but the losers definitely should not lose as much LP. It doesn't matter the rank, it is unfair to the players and creates a poor gaming experience.
