Would going hybrid pen on lux be worth it? I'm constantly autoing people as i proc my passive. Also, does armor penetration work on minions since im going hybrid pen? I know they have 0 armor but I'm pretty sure flat penetration can make a target go below 0

This is kinda more for Tips & Tricks. Anyway...
It's worth it in that Hybrid Runes cost far less than getting both a set of Armor Pen and a set of Magic Pen and in that you give up rather little magic pen. stats for a lot of armor pen. However, of course, the Armor Pen. is only useful on your base auto attack damage.
I'm pretty sure your wrong. What you are thinking of is flat reduction.
I didn't mean reduce their armor, i used the wrong choice of words. I meant like it'll make them take more damage, as IF they were negative armor. Does it work that way?
Like if they have 0 mr and you have 20 magic penetration. Would they take damage as if they would have -20 mr?

But if you are pretty solid at getting CS with the spell Proc and autos, then I would just stick to magic pen. The proc damage from the passive is dealt as magic damage, not physical damage. This means that lux is completely AP.
I'm not sure if armor pen brings minion's armor below zero, but I don't think so.

I think attack damage does less damage than armor pen on champions early on, since everyone gains armor/level and your AD is gonna do less and less damage. And Lux's passive does do magic damage, but you're also autoing alot which does physical.
I'm not quite sure about which marks to use T_T
