I cant mid with Sona because she sucks, cant supp as Sona because team always recommends to use a tanky supp, and Sona cant jg, she cant top, she fucking sucks

It's not that she can't do her intended role or secondary role (or even top), but it's that she's been so heavily nerfed that she's extremely cost ineffective both gold and mana wise. If she builds traditional support items, she's garbage. She needs to buy AP to be effective, as a pseudo APC, but that's largely a problem considering her intended role's income. I've actually had more success as mid sona since she focuses on being a lane bully 1 on 1 and can restore a bit of mana back due to dorans + Grail/Morello- well, that, and she needs to buy AP items anyway.

Riot doesn't want Sona to be a good mid, because mids that can heal themselves are unfun. That's why they made Nidalee a jungler, reworked Sona and Soraka, and keep Mordekaiser, Kennen, Vladimir and Akali in consistently poor balance states.

Sona support is decent. It's a lose lane win game type of deal. You get Ancient Coin, potions, and max heal, and sit back and play passive. If your carry gets hooked or Zenith Bladed you toss your heal, maybe an Exhaust, and then when he rages at you tell him not to be out of position.

Get Boots of Mobility because you need to dodge every skill shot in the game with 325 ms. But lots of mana regen early, and lots of utility late. Sona has poor AP ratos, so while you might find it fun to chunk people with Lich Bane, you'll have a lot more success with Archangel's, Ardent Censer, Ruby Sightstone, Boots of Mobility + Captain, Talisman of Ascension, and Locket or Frozen Heart.

and she still sucks and a kayle/zed support can do better, that's the sad fact that any champ can do better than Sona at everything
