I'm done playing Solo Que
I want you people to think about something, when was the last time you had fun in Solo Que? Because frankly, I never have. I always liked earning that next rank, or getting whatever rewards I get for my work but, I don't think its worth it, and I feel bad that I used to let it matter to me so much. This probably won't be received well, so let me make a few statements before you rip my head off and let me know how bad I am at League of Legends, and I am going to say only that I know i'm not good at League of Legends. First off, ranked is fine...for other people, as for me, it creates a toxic environment where tilting under the stress is common. Second, I am only in silver, and I know I'm going to catch shit for that but, as I have just been demoted to silver 2, having a month earlier been up for promos into gold, is demoralizing, I made mistakes, and I really enjoy that I now would have to work through two series barriers to hit gold. Don't get me wrong, I love League of Legends, but frankly I find the casual aspects of the game enjoyable, and the competitive aspect, while fun to to watch pros play, low elo feels like i'm walking into a brick wall, and I know i'm not that good, I know I make mistakes, but even if I went out of my way to prove, every person in ranks above me say that basically, the games don't get any less frustrating, the players don't get any less toxic, and you will be fucked with more given that you dare ever make a fucking mistake. Lets not get started how If someone flames you or throws your match, you can actually get banned for letting them know how much of a "scum-fuck bastard" they are, or else you will be sitting out for two weeks - forever while they get to continue terrorizing the community and taking their hard earned LP. (No I was never banned, just saying the game forces you to just bottle that shit up until you quit or snap.) Have fun in the endless cycle, as for me, I will be having a good time in normal games with friends.
TL;DR : Ranked Solo Que is not fun, I'm done lol.
