Too many games have I suffered through, where this champion with unlimited advantage and no weaknesses face-rolls everyone. Let us compare pros and cons. Pros

  1. High damage.
  2. High mobility.
  3. AOE Stun.
  4. Several Shields.
  5. Not very squishy (and even if she was, look at all those shields.)
  6. Ranged ultimate.
  7. NO recourse.
  8. Has little to no counter-picks.
  9. Takes little to no skill to play after grasping the basics of her kit.
  10. Can shred tanks with ease.
  11. Can easily 1v5 when fed with little to no counter-play.1
  12. Can faceroll in lane passed level 3

Cons

  1. I can't think of one Achilles Heel for this champion.

Feel free to state your opinion, but honestly, this champion makes me want to stop playing every time I see her, especially if I have to lane against her. She is the definition of anti-fun. I know this will not be received well because you Riven mains have this delusional belief that playing Riven is hard. I am going to say frankly that they should either nerf riven, or make other top laners stronger.

TL;DR Riven = broken, counterless, bullshit.

No, without items she has one shield.

She has poor base stats and scaling defenses, and builds almost pure glass cannon. Of course she's very squishy.

She has one of the higher skill caps in the game actually.

Not once they build their defensive items she can't. A Malphite stacking armour won't notice her.

Crowd control her. She would have to be truly, monstrously fed to 1v5 reliably.

She does have a pretty strong level 3.

Cons

  1. I can't think of one Achilles Heel for this champion.

Poor lane sustain, squishy, has to all-in to do any of her damage, is punished severely if you can interrupt her combos, etc.
