I have a one hour restriction from all games for dodging in ranked, and frankly, I would be OK with this, if I had dodged at all, but when my team got to go to pick and bans, I was greeted with a black screen with a blue box, and my team telling me that we are in picks/bans. So now I cannot play League of Legends for 1 hour because your client bugged out, thank you riot, thank you for not letting me play on behalf of your client.

It's been happening with me as well. It's occurred with several different internet connections so it can't be that, and even if it was the internet connection, I think the connection would be bugged with the rest of the computer too, yet I can go on my browser and it works just fine. It's a bit odd to say the least. The only thing rioters have offered to me is to reinstall the game or run with admin privileges, but nothing really changes with that.

Same thing just happened to me, first time of the day, "Retrieving data from server", and a black screen, and lost LP for nothing. Don't know if I have ranked restriction yet or not because I'm not gonna risk even more LP for crappy server issues.

I would appreciate a rioter response, perhaps some idea for revision on issues like these, seeing as I am not the only person with this exact issue. I already lost my hour, and consequently, missed the last game I would get to play with my team last night, It would be nice to know that some attempt at repair to the issue is present, I don't even want some kind of apology or compensation, I just want to know that something is being done about the stability of the game client.

I have been in champ select twice now and have similar results, both which were promo matches and now I lost my promos. Bans occur and then during picking It appears to freeze and then give me an Unknown Error bug window.
