Karma RE shield vs Sona W shield
I was thinking about this and I found a horrible truth. SONA'S SHIELD GIVES MORE THAN KARMA'S RE. That's...rediculous. Look at these stats
Melody: Sona gains an aura for 3 seconds. Allied champions that enter the aura will gain a shield that prevents up to 25/50/75/100/125 (+30% Ability Power) damage within the next 1.5 seconds.
Inspire: Target ally gains a shield, granting 40/45/50/55/60% Movement Speed for 1.5 seconds and absorbing 70/95/120/145/170 (+50% Ability Power) damage for 4 seconds. Mantra Bonus: grants 30/90/150/210 bonus shield and 40% movement speed. Nearby allies gain 30% as much as the initial target shield.
REMEMBER THAT I'M CHECKING MANTRA BONUS, SO IT ONLY GOES UP 4 LEVELS COMPARED TO SONA'S 5 So I did some stat checking and now look here Lvl 1 everyone gets 30 shield power. Sona gives 25 So lvl 2, everyone gets 48. Sona gives 50 Then at level 3, everyone gets 66. Sona gives 75 At level 4, everyone gets 99. Sona gives **100 or 125 **
Most games don't go long enough for Karma to hit lvl 16 as support while Sona's W is a first max.
So how come Sona's NONULTIMATE ability with an extremely short cooldown mid/late game can give more shielding power than Karma's ult? Either rito needs to bump up Karma's shielding power on RE or give the damage back on it. Sona's build ap while Karma's build utility, so the ap ratio doesn't play that much.
