I think Cho'Gath is about to be meta once more. I think he's overpowered for the following reasons.

I feel like whenever I play him I'm walking around with a huge balance issue of a champion.

A champion who can silence for 2.5 seconds in an AOE cone, has an AOE cast that when it lands is an Alistar Q, extremely dependable wave-clear, respectable sustained damage and an ultimate that has SCALING AP TRUE DAMAGE. This one is a on a bit of a side note here but having an additional 1000 plus damage smite which pretty much guarantees a baron and elder dragon contests/steal if you land it with a flash.

There's also the fact that you can prevent the enemy jungler from casting smite with your silence. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love playing him; its just I feel like he's too damn strong at too many things. A tank that's able to 100-0 a squishy with ease rocking an AP bruiser build path just doesn't seem fair..... L O L

  1. When you combine the fact that you've left his silence alone for pretty much ever with the buffs on item 3116 You have yourself the premier bully champion in the game.

  2. I can't help but emphasize the assassin element of game-play that he possesses. It's an absolute monstrosity.

  3. Let's go over the raw numbers more then anything. The scaling on this guy is disgusting. I even added flavor text for the viewer's pleasure ;)

Q/ You're telling me this guy has a 100% AP ratio on a basic ability??? ▶ Rupture Ruptures the ground at target location. Enemies caught in the rupture are launched into the air for 1 second, take 80/135/190/245/305 (+1*AP) magic damage, and are slowed by 60% for 1.5 seconds.

Cost 90 Mana Cooldown 9 seconds Range 950

Feral Scream/ A 70% AP ratio on what is currently the longest silence in the entire game! Silences enemies in a cone for 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds and deals 75/125/175/225/275 (+0.7*AP) magic damage.

Cost 70/80/90/100/110 Mana Cooldown 13 seconds Range 300

Vorpal Spikes. Respectable sustained damage that applies on hit effects??? Suspect for some nonsensical synergy like mentioned above with this badboyitem 3116 Toggle: Basic attacks launch spikes that deal 20/35/50/65/80 (+0.3*AP) magic damage. Spikes grow wider as Cho'Gath gains Feast stacks.

Cost No Cost/ Wait a **** minute. No cost ability that extends auto attack range and applies on hit effects?!?!?! Cooldown 0.5 seconds/ Cooldown mentioned in this text here is laughable. You guys could certainly add more depth to this ability for sure. Input/Output. Not just a toggle that you're going to keep on practically all game without having to sacrifice much. Range 40

Feast/ Don't even get me **** started. You're telling me late game at rank 3 you're getting more hp then a item 3083! Combined with his passive and reliable wave-clear the result of the two together is item 3083 I don't even want to guess the total gold value of this ability by itself, but if I were going to I'd say it's roughly 3200-3500 Gold! Ravenously feed on an enemy, dealing 300/475/650 (+0.7AP) true damage to champions or 1000 (+0.7AP) to minions and monsters. If Feast deals a killing blow, Cho'Gath gains a stack of Feast, which causes him to grow in size and gain 100/140/180 maximum health. Kills on champions grant an additional stack of Feast. Kills on minions and monsters refund 50% of Feast's cooldown and cost. Cho'Gath cannot have more than 6 stacks of Feast at once and loses half of his stacks upon dying.

Cost 100 Mana Cooldown 80 seconds

You know what I could say **** Riot but I won't.

He isn't OP because he isn't mobile at all, there is no sudden jump, no quickness, nothing you can't outpredict. He is predictable and not mobile, thus balanced. He is rather binary but if he gets ahead, he is indeed a monster.

Pretty much. There was a fed Cho in my first ever Jhin game and there was literally nothing he could do to stop me kiting him :P

He is pretty bad atm.

His silence being one of the last remaining ones in the game is the single MOST oppresive part of his kit. because it sets up everything else so well.

Cho is allowed to 100-0 squishy because of his lack of mobility. The only way for him to go to your carry is to walk to him. No gapcloser. His Q is predictable and rather easy to dodge due to the cast animation and the delay.

Also, dying is very punishing for cho. He loses half of his stacks. Imagine if every time you died, item 3083 went back to item 1011
