Nobody wants Kalista strong. No offense. But when she was viable no champion was more rage inducing across the collective playerbase. She needs a rework.

i think her and Azir are going to get reworks, Ghostcrawler/Riot have come out and said last weak it was during a time of innovation over game health, and they couldn't get it right so while they want new styles, types and mechanics for champions there going to innovate more slowly and probably on reworks more than new champions and focus on giving new champions a clear identity.

he/they mentioned Kalista and Azir specifically as they have had severe balance problems they ar either ridiculously strong or ridiculously weak in competitive play and they can this a sweet spot, but he / they think Azir is achievable while Kalista needs a rework.
