Can we stop playing champs we're not comfortable with in ranked?

Shit's getting old real quick. Just because you got a skin from hextec crafting that you like, or a skin is on sale, doesn't mean play the fucking champion in ranked.

To be fair, people in all elo levels do this. Especially from Plat down.

You see a lot of dumb-butts in plat because they got boosted or carried there.

I haven't seen someone first time a champ in ranked since I played WW first time in ranked lmao. Bronze MMR over here.

Until Riot implements a rule that explicitly states "Thou shall not ever play champions thou is not practiced on in Ranked mode, unless thou hast practiced thy champion at least XVII times, or else thou shall suffer the righteous ban hammer of justice"; then it's fair game to play whatever the fuck you want.

They got rid of free week champs in ranked because it was a problem, I feel like this doesn't really happen anymore.

SMITE does this and forbids you to play that character in ranked unless you've got at least 1 mastery point which can take a few games depending on how good you are.

Had a first time ivern.

He was doing pretty good but he did f up some things like his auto attacks since he keeps forgetting the bush thing.

I actually enjoy playing Ivern but imo he isn't someone you should play in a bronze elo game since most people can't coordinate with him well plus there is SoloQ misunderstandings in communications.

It's an interesting concept to be sure; I'm not completely against the notion of locking champions out of ranked until you've mastered them to some degree;

I will have to disagree with you on Ivern in low elo though. I just got Ivern to mastery 7 in four days and he got me to climb out of my silver 5 hell and up to silver 3 in those days. Then again, I primarily play him as a top/mid laner with exhaust/smite. But it wrecks house.

Not saying I've lost alot with him on my side but I don't think alot of people have won in low elo with him thats what i ment sorry about that ^_^; heheh

Mostly because I'm used to team playing better thats if people commit well.

I've been nervous in touching ranked after that humiluating start in the placements >_< urgh 45% win rate just hurts i had at least 49 or 50% in the previous seasons oh man the early version of autofill wasn't even kind to support mains to so in some games i was forced to play mid or adc with no one wanting to switch so yeh i need to git gud on adc n mid.

As always my home land is support mostly in ranked I've had luck with Kled, Tahm Kench, janna the most.

What builds do you recomend with ivern top or mid with a simple description of runes n masteries? even if you just want to make fun of me and give me something silly i will try it XD.

lil bit off topic but kind of relevant. alot of people can't play kled for heck even high elo players but he is easy (its in my name of course) You can easily wreck top laners with just barrier and ignite so you can easily 1v2 on top lane early and people always go all in on a dismounted kled, I do play him support as my current ad support champion since i think he is better than poppy and riven.

Though i still use wukong for the Q peels from blitzcrank and thresh.

I think people should play champions that they dont "main" if the matchup is just that bad. For example I played 2 normal games and 2 flex que games with elise and I know you cant master her in 4 games but my Lee Sin main was going into a Graves and Zed, thats hell for me, so I picked elise with little to no experience with her, I won that game, but If I had picked lee, I know I would have lost.[slayer-pantheon-rainbows]
