Jungle is becoming supremely boring and not fun to even play my main role. Details in post.

I mean I don't want to just say that and expect players to be like yea jungle sucks ... but I want to give some reason as to why I feel jungle (my main role for like 4 + years ?) is really starting to suck now and is very boring, stagnant and just unfun and unfulfilling to play.

to put it in another way and into Riot's terms "The fantasy of a Jungler is not very enjoyable or fulfilling"

I no longer really enjoy playing my role ... it is very mundane very boring and I felt out of place recently while playing it. I am very bored of the junglers available to me ( none of them are all that interesting ) other than hecarim & kindred due to their uniqueness. all their skills and auto attacks for the most part are extremely basic and boring ( volibear / nocturne / any auto attacker ever ) and again this season they really did fail again at making players choose unique jungle pathing for each champion or most champions.

Also, another huge thing to me this season is that when I come out of the jungle I never feel empowered or strong and am always afraid to even gank. For instance I will be a cinderhulk user when I engage on an enemy half the time I die in 3 seconds even when I have a teammate with me. Everyone in this game just melts you like your a piece of paper .. I have no sense of tankyness nor do I ever feel like I am actually tanky.

Warning other players that your coming in for a gank is like trying to tell them you will win the lottery .. no one believes you they never follow up and often times just outright watch you fight two seconds away from him and watch you die trying to salvage something out of the failed gank. We need like a huge blowhorn that makes them actually understand that " I am about to help you kill your laner please help me" Like I do not think out of every season I have played that I have failed more ganks than I have this season due to this.

One of the biggest differences personally is that I do not feel like I can carry a game anymore outside of playing my main champion since last season (Hecarim) and likely got there because #1 I'm proficient with him and #2 he was broken likely most of that time even tho most did not realize. I do not feel like well if my adc does not do his job I can kill the enemy adc (marksman sorry) and even the odds or take out X person when needed.

I never feel powerful or threatening anymore, I feel more like a support champion who cant do anything on his own. And that I need to be babied through a game in order to be successful.

Also, another thing that bores me is that we do not get enough jungle champions a season to change things up ... this season I can recall Reksai & Kindred and now this new guy. And that itself is a stretch ... Riots basically 1st time since I've been playing that 3 junglers has come out in 1 season ( assuming this new guy is coming before preseason ) I still feel like more needs to be done.

To somewhat sumerize what I would like for Riot to do next season would be to

#1 Increase the variety add more junglers and more unique kits ( non auto attack based boring kits ) #2 Increase the variety of Jungle pathing ( make so junglers take different paths for different reasons ) #3 Empower the jungler ( make him actually feel strong and like he can make an impact instead of feeling like a paper clip just holding the team together ) #4 Clarify the ping so that when your ganking the player can actually understand that your saying I am coming to gank ( apparently players still do not get this one ) #5 Make jungling more unique and less mundane.

I guess thats about all I have to say on the matter .. I am sad that after 4 years of investing into this role I am slowly coming to grips with how I am starting to not like my own role or be comfortable playing what I have enjoyed about league for so long. Guess I might have to stick to transitioning into a top laner =/

You can read my post "Why do I like Kindred". It's also refered to jungle and I offered sone fun solutuin that would improve jungling and make id more fun and rewarding to play. I also mentioned why is Kindred the best champion out there, because of it's uniqueness and interaction with jungle camps, enemies and the Marks that encourage counterjungling.

I will read it. Even though I have no interest in Kindred and main Shyvana. Just because you sound positive and have good English. I like reading. :3

I have made so many mistakes typing my reply that it's painful to read. I am at work so I am trying to type as fast as I can via phone.

When I watch pro play, the jungle pathing is rarely the same one game to the next this season. A lot of this doesn't translate too far down the ladder, as laners at my elo don't memorize clear speeds of each jungler to the second, but I still feel like jungle has more options than ever. If you're bored with farming junglers and you can't seem to get your laners to help you, try out some invaders. All three styles (farm/gank/invade) work with most teams, so just play something different (or get some better teammates if yours aren't helping you out).

I have three different ways of clearing the jungle as just Shyvana. :3 and counter jungling is the best fun. And that is considering she is a farm jungler.

Then start playing a different role. I think jungle is just fine. I main Shyvana, Sejuani and Nautilus in jungle. I've also picked up Udyr recently. Amumu and Rammus are occasional secondaries.

I've never felt more empowered in LoL than when I switched from ADC/Mid to Jungler. It is such a powerful role with so much to worry about. And there are some awesome junglers who are NOT AA based.

Elise, Gragas, Nidalee, just to name a couple.
