Ahri Support?

I think its good, the charm is AMAZING for getting the adc and has great synergy with caitlyns traps, her Q also has great peel. level 6 you can start to make some big plays bot lane due to the adc's being mostly immobile. I take the dorans ring and just finish my item 3165 for more charms. If we get ahead pre 6, i buy a item 1058. Try it sometime.

So you basically want a kill lane?

annie and zyra do it better

Sightstone is too important.

You start doran's ring while going support? Yeah. Good luck with that bro. You're not going to build anything with 0 gold. Ahri support is not legit in any way or shape.

Tried it once. Garbage. Better off playing Morgana or Lux.

Only problem with charm is it isn't the fastest of moving CC and can be blocked by minions. I would think other supports that have CC and can ignore minions would be better for the CC side of things. I also see supports like Brand , Velkoz , and Zyra being better for burst and dmg bot lane.

Not saying that Ahri support couldn't work, but she really is not the strongest in regards to either option as support. (No tankiness either)

I personally would not take her support ever

I tried it at my senpai's demand once, and laning phase actually went REALLY well. I dropped off late because I never play Ahri, but the charms led to some seriously nasty ganks, and their Lee Sin died tried to dive us twice thanks to them. I'd suggest maxing Charm and then Fox Fire if you're going to do it, unless you build a Tear early. Poking with her Q is too much mana, but that W can be surprisingly useful against an aggressive lane.

I literally got a quad cause all 4 came bot and tried to dive, i used my ult and flash to charm and weave everything, i killed the adc with my charm Q combo, used R and dodged the morgana stun, and avoided lee sins kick. it was badass.

level 6 you can start to make some big plays bot lane due to the adc's being mostly immobile.

ADC's tend to be 50% range, 50% speed. Immobile is not a common trait among them, most tend to be on Ahri's level.

I take the dorans ring and just finish my item 3165 for more charms.

Then you're not playing support.

You're running a kill lane, which is extremely risky, and suited to other champions better.

If you don't win lane rather convincingly, you'll have serious issues pulling your weight in mid or late game, where most supports will not.

You're...basically picking Yorick at that point. Win lane hard or loose the game.

If you take the support position, I don't care whatever champ you pick, but build a bloody sightstone.

Beyond that, I would still take a Spellthief above a Doran, but ok, why not. As long as you tried it in Normals before, and you are confident in your skills, you can pick whatever you want, I won't blame you.

But buy this sightstone, for the love of everything holy.
