First Day of Ranked

My first few games of ranked was pretty successful I tried a few games with pantheon and I quickly realized It was not the champion for me to play ranked in as I don't roam enough so I jumped on Tryndamere for a few games and knocked out 4 wins and 1 loss ending my gaming session with 4 wins 3 losses (2 of them from pantheon).

I noticed from Op.gg that I was playing against silvers for awhile then gold players and I noticed a huge difference so far in the behaviours of these two ranks, Silver players didn't really use chat that often and I had very few issues with, gold players as soon as I jumped into game started BMing I had a bug with my health bars during one game that forced me to relog in middle of lane at level 1 which gave wukong a huge early game lead and a massive CS advantage for a good 15 minutes because he was pushing me off minions and all he did was talk smack everytime he got ganked he was informing everyone how bad this tryndamere is and how much he needs his jungler...It happened in a previous game with another gold player not under the same circumstances but the same type of behaviour.

Does getting gold rank give people some sort of messiah complex were they think they are better than everyone else? needless to say every person I've played against using my main has Bm'd as much as possible flamed as much as possible and ultimately lost game as hard as possible and ofcourse when I asked wukong after the game "As you were saying?" he ofcourse replied with "MY TEAM!"

Does the messiah complex continue and worsen as the ranks progress? or does it get better? because it seems to me once you get outta silver you have the right to think you are the best player in the world and know absolutely everything about the game.
